Due to the consolidation of their two Melbourne manufacturing plants into their existing Sunshine plant, Vinidex required an additional 1500 m2 storage warehouse, 9,000 m2 of extra external concrete hardstand, and while they were at it, an upgraded fire service to meet the current fire brigade regulations.

We were initially awarded the construction and suggested the redesigned of the 9,000 m2 heavy duty concrete hardstand. This led to Berne Fleming Civil being awarded the detail design and construction of a 1500 m2 warehouse and the detail design and construction of a full plant fire services upgrade contract.

These contracts, including the construction of silo foundations, cost in excess of $3m. It is fitting that we completed our largest building contract to date with one of our oldest friends, Vinidex.
