We recently completed the contract to design and construct sand storage hoppers for Blue Circle Southern Cement at Waurn Ponds. These hoppers have been designed and built to withstand the heavy-duty use by heavy earth moving machinery.

Blue Circle Southern Cement is a leading Australian producer of cement with manufacturing operations in the most populated eastern states. Blue Circle Southern Cement's major manufacturing centre near Geelong, operates a 700,000 tonnes per annum dry process kiln.

We were awarded the contract by Blue Circle Southern Cement to obtain planning and building permits and to design and construct new sand hoppers, consisting of 3-metre tall concrete panels and a 9.5-metre tall steel and metal clad structure, all able to withstand very heavy daily usage. The project was completed without a hitch.
